Last year when "Passion of the Christ" came out, I didn't see it. My excuse was that I read the book. Well, last night I broke down and saw another adaptation, only it was "Godspell". It was a good night out which started with dinner at Starfish Grill. That's my new favorite restaurant, cause they make a good Gin and Tonic.
It's Father Wells' one year anniversary of being ordained a deacon, so fittingly I sang the "Happy Anniversary Song", from the Flintstones. It's to the tune of "William Tell Overture", and the words are "Happy Anniversary". That's it, real easy. The Rubbles sang it to the Flintstones, but I forget what the occasion was. Let me think about that one... I'll get back to you in the morning. The Rubbles had a good five thousand year head start on Rossini.
So Lance Armstrong is dating Sheryl Crow. Who knew? Seriously, I didn't until I saw them on 20/20 last night. Good for them! Except I always saw her as some a very calm soul, and he's wicked intense. But they seem happy.
We finished watching Season 4 of Curb. I think the last episode, Opening Night for The Producers, is hilarious. A stroke of genius. I love when he's making out with Uula, and then he finds out she's a republican. Classic. I would have done the same exact thing.
School has been okay. Band has been great, and the other classes kinda suck. And unfortunately band is over at 8:30, and then I have to whole rest of the day ahead of me that I just don't look forward to. Plus, it takes me the whole month of September to really get back into the routine. Talk to me in 2 weeks and I'll feel better.
Tuesday is Election Day in Manchester, and our school is used for voting, so we have no school. Weird. Last year was a much bigger election (as we all remember), yet school was open while the voters went in and out. Again, weird.
