To partake in the musical feast, we must first set the table
Tonight I have been trying to figure out a discipline plan for my upcoming school year, reading up on old handouts on classroom management that I received at various seminars, etc. It's worth mentioning that the same few phrases keep popping up at me:
-"BOREDOM breeds BIG trouble"
-"Saying one thing and doing another could be the biggest mistake"... and they're right.
-"It's not severity of punishment, it's certainty".
...I'll need all the help I can get.
I've been watching "Curb Your Enthusiasm" on DVD. My favorite episode so far is from season 2, The Shrimp Incident". Anyone else seen these episodes? I am eagerly anticipating season 4, apparently out on August 30th.
Off to the Maine lake tomorrow. Back for Jackie and Jason's party on Saturday.
