Today isn't much of a day. I plan on going to the Jim later in the day. What's the count for visits this year Ed? Well Jim, the count is: 44 times. That's pretty good. I also worked briefly on the scholarship forms for the choral society, as I am scholarship chair. I plan on sending the forms to high schools next week, with the postmark deadline April 12. That seems like enough time, right? I figure that if they want this money enough, they'll get it done in time. I remember one day late in my senior year of high school my guidance counselor came up to me and told me about a music scholarship, but the deadline was the next day. I said that I didn't have enough time to write an essay. She said "Ed, look at it this way. If you stay up all night and write an essay, you might win $1000." And she was right, how busy could I have been?
Who isn't happy for Jaime Foxx winning the Oscar? He seems like a good guy, plus he played that part so well.
One should listen Jerry Seinfeld talk about supermarkets... What do I eat? There's fat content. People just see 'fat content. There's fat in it. It's gonna be in me!'"
I just finished "Blue Like Jazz", which was the _________ book I ever read. I initially thought it was about _________, yet I couldn't help noticing just how ________ the author's ____________ was.
(Blanks to be filled in after Jackie reads it too.)
It's vacation week, and let's hope I return to school with more vigor than I did after Christmas. Went skiing yesterday. Why I waited until March 1 to go skiing for the first time this winter is beyond me. I love skiing! There was a lot of fresh snow on the ground yesterday, and that kept it empty. It also kept the speeds down, which is good because I hate when tons of people fly right by me on the slopes. What a day!
Does anyone want to go skiing with me sometime this month? There are a lot of days this month that I can't go (days that involve Large Group and Easter), but there are a lot of that I can, so if you're interested, let's do it. You and me.
