it's true, compatriots. in almost exactly 2 months, i will be departing the golden state for the prairie state (illinois). in light of the fact that it's 2/3 of the way across the continent and i'm not likely to be back much for the next several years, i'm trying to make sure i see people again before i go.

so, if anybody's in the area and wants to hang out between now and august 10th or so, comment!
