we got back from our out to sea training with the u.s.s. lincoln two days ago. i thought 15 days was bad, try 23.. i have to get ready for the six month deployment scheduled for january...
yesterday i ended up on whidbey island with my filipino friend ugalde, he took me to one of his old friends from great lakes house. they cooked me all this filipino food and we went shopping and stuff. it was pretty fun.
we hit san diego twice during our underway period. i still had to work but we got out before six so we had plenty of time out in town. the first time in i got really drunk and went to a bad religion concert, which would have been much more fun had i not been so tired. the second time i played soccer in a parking lot with two friends from the ship and saw the longest yard. not bad.
saturday is my birthday.. the big 20. im not going to be a teenager anymore and thats kind of a weird feeling. CS1 wilkins is giving me the day off and im gonna party hard on friday night and then go see BANE in seattle the next day.. i cant wait.
well, im tired.. and have a headache... goodnight.
