I feel like Drum Major try-outs are a waste of time. They say they want your papers, and your essay and your reason, but they wont even consider you ass if they want to use you. Me and Jessica Dwyer are being screwed because we cant be taken off the field. Well, i guess the only reason im a little upset is they didnt even take my interview, they just figured "he's a TUBA, cant afford it. " immediate change of subject. I think in a way being pict for Drum Major is kind of an insult, depending on how you take it, they can afford to lose you. Some times they get lucky, like with wesley, but some times they dont (tommy) I figure, trying out is a waste of my time AND emotions. If i wanna do something, im gonna give my all into it. And being screwed for a practically invalid reason is a little upsetting. I guess becky isnt trying out. I figure, me and jessica are stuck on the field. That leives becky, sarah and holly, i kno mr cramer doesnt like sarah and holly's attitude and, that leives becky. She has it, at her finger tips, all she has to do is come to practice, and be "affordable". But now that she isnt trying out, it screws everything up. Ive been questioning whether i should do it now, knowing that i cant do anything about it.
