A Photographic Recap: Phoenix Symphony Guild Youth Orchestra edition for PSGYO Retreat 2005

Oct 23, 2005 20:57

On the way up to Prescott, David, Vania, and I carpooled. Since we left directly from ASA on Friday to go to Retreat, here's all of our stuff.

David and Vania seemed to bond further on this retreat. Here they are (from an Eddie point of view).

Bob and Kayoko are standing on a ledge about 12-16 inches higher than where I was standing. Kayoko Dan, the PSGYO assistant conductor is on the left, then Bob Moody, and then me.

At 7:00am on Sunday morning, two trumpets played the Reveille. They played it about a half step apart, and I thought to myself that that's something Joey Sienicki and Stephen Schermitzler would do.

Bob led a Sunday-morning hike to a rock outcropping near Sky Y Camp (where the PSGYO retreat was). Here's the group photo.

To pass the time in between rehearsals, we played Ping Pong. Here are the PSGYO concertmaster and Vanessa playing the sport.

Here's Paul, a member of the PSGYO 2005-2006 percussion corps, playing Ping Pong.

Ladies and gentlemen, here is the Phoenix Symphony Guild Youth Orchestra. I'm the tall one standing on the right. The two conductors are in the front laying on the ground.

And that was my weekend, my friends.
