PS: In the Showcase percussion performance, it seems like none of the djembe parts fit the marimba parts. Are the djembe parts part of a written piece, or did somebody write them to fit the marimba parts?

I don't really know about the djembe parts; and quite frankly, I don't care. Ask (or try to ask) Ms Guzman.

I'd rather stay away from Ms. Guzman, especially if she is the one who wrote the djembe parts. I kind of hope she did write them though cause then there is at least some proof she's not a great percussionist, not having an understanding of different drumming cultures.
