My first group ride
Today was my first group ride. Went with four others, two of whom were riding bitch (neither with me, since I've never ridden with anyone two-up before). We went from San Jose to Gilroy and back, had breakfast at a nice place down there, then cooled off back at our base of operations before I headed back to Redwood City, where I got a haircut, then came home and napped for a bit.
It was a fun ride, and I handled it pretty well. I kind of wish it had been longer, but as it stands, I rode about 130 miles today. All-in-all, very productive, good practice, and some nice scenery. I might even take up my neighbor on the offer to go riding with him sometime. He owns a very lovely Triumph.
