Back at home. [for mikepinocchio and jack_devlin]

From hereEddie didn't say a word the whole drive home. He was trying too hard not to freak out, to think too much that someone out there actually wanted to hurt him. Worse, wanted to hurt Jason. When they pulled up, he eyed the familiar surroundings that now looked a lot more threatening than usual. His home was a fair way from any other people. A ( Read more... )

*Devlin has made his way, unsees around to where Eddie is throwing pitches. Carefully looking about, he is certain that Locke's little "Yank" is alone.

With his gun drawn, he slides up behind the man.*

Hello, Yank. My name is Jack, and we need to take a little drive to see your precious Jason.

Eddie didn't even hear Devlin approach. Spinning around, he drops the ball he's holding in surprise. He freezes when he sees the gun. And he definitely doesn't want to go anywhere with this guy.

"Maybe later?"

*Jack laughs*

Sorry, mate. I think it will be now.

*One hand is encased in a cast, the other holds the gun that he gestures towards the car with.*

As long as you do what I say, I won't hurt you. Let's go, Yank. Jason is waiting.

And now the fear's setting in. "Eddie," he corrects without thinking. Only Jason calls him Yank and it sounds wrong from anyone else. Especially from this guy. Of course, everything Devlin's saying sounds wrong. Did he mean he had Jason? No, no way. There's someone around apparently watching out for him and the last thing Eddie wants to do is get in that car.

He pulls off his baseball mitt slowly. "Where are we going?"

To see your boyfriend. Don't worry, we will have other guests. Will, Carolina....it will be quite a party.

*Devlin smiles at the other man's obvious fear.*

Jason will be there when we arrive. We are planning quite a reunion for you, my friends and I.

"Oh?" The man smiled like a goddamm shark. Jason had said he'd be alright and he'd said there'd be someone around watching out for Devlin, but what if there wasn't? What if Jason was there? What was he supposed to do?

Eddie takes his time putting his mitt away with his pitching gear. "I just have to lock up." The good ol' slow southern boy act is useful at times. Like he even knows where his housekey is. Eddie just wants to put off getting in that car.

Devlin thought he had gone unseen. He was wrong. Mike had been at the house for hours. He had checked all the entrances the property and then some. And he had been waiting for someone to arrive. Eddie was first from what he could see through his binoculars. He was there for a while when he saw another man making his way around the back.

Devlin.

Mike pushed from his seat and quietly, with training made his way around as well. He waited before making his move.

He pulled out his sub-machine gun. His trusted friend and crept up behind Jack. The cold metal of the barrel pressed to the back of his neck. "Only party you will be going to is a blanket party, Jack-ass." He growl was harsh and very cold. "Drop the gun or I drop you."

*Devlin froze. Who the fuck was this? He knew it wasn't Locke. He slowly held out the gun and let it fall to the ground.*

Well, well...so loser Locke has playmates.

"Ever been fucked up your ass by a machine gun?" The snarl came. Devlin had no idea the type of place Pinocchio had been living in. It was a lot harsher than here. So a hit to the back of Devlin's head followed his statement and then a knock to the back of his knees to get him on the ground.

He kicked the gun to Eddie, "Get me some rope and duct tape," He ordered Eddie, the then grabbed Devlin's hair and pulled his head back, "You make one fucking move, utter one word, I'll start shooting knee caps and work my way up. And if you think I'm just all threat... try me."

*Fuck. It occurred to Devlin that he had made a serious miscalculation. The only thing that would keep him alive was feigned compliance and the fact that he had Carolina hidden. Locke would not kill him until he knew where all his objects of affection were at. If DiGarmo already had Will, so much the better. He simply nodded in agreement.*

Eddie almost breathed a sigh of relief, when the other man appeared behind Devlin. Except he didn't seem much less intimidating and any talk of shooting kneecaps was going to make Eddie uncomfortable. To say the least.

Distaste clear, along with stress and fear, he picked up the gun. Duct tape and rope. He had that. Somewhere. God, everything was such a mess, but it had to be somewhere. Eddie found some quickly enough in one of the kitchen cupboards

He stopped, away from both of them, and held out the stuff in his hands. "Rope and duct tape. Where's Jason?"

Jason couldn't get out of the car fast enough when he saw the little drama unfolding on Eddie's side lawn. Mike was trussing up Devlin like a Christmas package and Eddie was standing there handing him rope.

--Fucking Christ if he's touched Yank...--

"M'here." Jason informed Eddie softly touching a hand to his back.

How sweet.

*Devlin was being tied, but confident that with Will and Carolina in his grasp, he could buy time.*

Jason sneered and knelt before Devlin and wrapped his hand in the man's hair forcing eye contact. "Y'fucked y'self when you came after m'boyfriend, Devlin. Carolina told me about y'little 'encounter' the other night and I c'n guarentee y'll be paying f'that lapse in judgement as well."

Jason glared down into Devlin's features. "Y'crossed the wrong bastard."

Maybe, but I don't think so.

You aren't going to kill me. I got two things you want, Locke. And if I die, they die...tick tock.

*Devlin laughs*

Pinocchio had wrapped the rope in duct tape then tied it around Devlin's wrists tightly. Then he duct taped that. The man was in a nice little package once he got down with his feet as well.

Standing back up, he saw Jason who answered and Mike stood silent. He had but his machine gun away but drew his block. When Devlin spoke, he cocked his gun.

Then as he laughed he backed him with the gun, "You better start talking shit for brains. I know how to kill a man very slowly."
