Heat
It was hot today. So much so that I just did not feel like going fishing. I ended up just playing on the computer, listing junk for sale online, watching the Tigers game (what I could stomach of until shutting it off in anger), going for two bike rides around town and, sadly, playing on my phone. However, it's cooling down overnight tonight. I'm gonna go out on the water tomorrow. Hopefully the cool doesn't mess up the fishing. Kind of an annoying day, though. The Tigers were bad, but other stuff was annoying. Trying to rip some VHS tapes and my software was acting up. Tried tweaking settings all day and couldn't get it to work well so I just gave up and spent some time discovering a way to screen-record videos from YouTube. So I will just rip these tapes THAT way. But I'll have to figure out something when I have an original tape that isn't posted online to steal. Also stubbed my toe (not the one I ripped the nail off) and had trespassers on my property again. I'm so over living next to a private parking lot that members of the public illegally use to trespass for recreation. And I want to stop paying for lawn care and trash pick up and snow removal. But I'll just have to remain patient. I listened to the Beatles on my first bike ride today. I've been hearing them my whole life. But man, I'm sorry, Paul's voice? Just....wow. He sounds like such a pussy. He just does. I admire his songwriting and musicianship, but some of those tracks are hard to listen to. It probably seems worse than it is because John sounds so cool and he sounds like such a dork. Also, I can't help but laugh my ass off when he goes "Jew Jude a'jewdy jewdy Judy Judy! (Aaaack!)" It's just so ridiculous. haha. I better get my exercises done (in the BASEMENT, where it's actually below 70) and hit the hay. Gonna shoot for a long day on the water tomorrow. Maybe I'll try and listen to the first half of MISERY by Stephen King on the iPod. Looking forward to that since I've always loved the film. peace
