The trip to Midland was a success. Got rid of all the styrofoam and batteries at the recycling center, bought new pair of work boots for the summer, loaded up on Aldi essentials and the Loons won 8-3. Really enjoyed the pavilion experience. Food was awesome, unlimited serve-yourself drinks was convenient and the roof sure was appreciated during the pre-game rain. Subbing the next day was a cake, as expected. Now it's time to relax and enjoy summer. Just need some warmer weather to come. We're in the 50s and 60s for the next week or so, which is a huge bummer. I mean, it's really ridiculous. It's JUNE. And we're having 48 degree lows overnight and upper 60s for the daytime highs? C'mon. Anyways, I've gotta take advantage of this crappy weather (sounds silly, right?) and get as much of my indoors chores done as I can. I won't want to do them later when (IF) it does become nice. So more listings, laundry, dishes, little fix-it jobs, cleaning, etc. Still have a big bin of junk to drop at thrift store. Last place passed on a bunch of it. Kinda weird that donation places are being picky these days. I get it if you don't want torn clothing or mold-covered stuff, but dang. This place in town won't even take a few NICE picture frames. But anyways, off to work. Smell ya later.
