It's late and I can't sleep 'cause I have a really bad headache, so I thought I'd sign on and finally update my LJ... on my new laptop!! Jenny went way above and beyond with giving Christmas gifts - PS2's for her niece and her sister, Sarah, an iPod for her sister, Rachel, and where to begin with what she got me?! For starters, the aforementioned laptop. Joking around I guessed a laptop but I never really thought I'd get one, which is really a sweet gesture as well since I had one when we first started talking but it broke and it wasn't even really mine. It was a hand-me-down from my Dad, so now I have one to call my own. (off topic: there was just an ad on T.V. for a sleeping pill. Boy that would be nice right now!) Also, Jenny got me the Godfather box set, King of Queens Season 2 (she has 1 and 3 so when we move together we'll have the complete series), Hollister clothes and gift card, a label maker and refills for it, a dry erase board and markers for it, bath and hand towels (since I only have like 3 that I have to continuously wash), moose slippers (my fave animal), bed sheets, a CD scratch repair pen, a baseball bank, the Amityville Horror DVD (it was our first date), Nivea shave gel and face wash and after shave lotion, Tony Hawk American Wasteland, 20 pens, hand soap and a shower sponge, a REALLY nice Motorola TracFone which I have to activate tomorrow, a share of Starbuck's stock (which is good cause I drink A LOT of their coffees!), and the greatest one of them all... (SLIGHTLY better than the laptop)... an authentic signed jersey of DON MATTINGLY!!!! EEEEK! Alot of people probably don't know him and definitely wouldn't pick him as their favorite Yankee player of all time, but he is mine. Ahead of Mantle, Gehrig, DiMaggio, Ruth, Jeter, etc. So, yep, I'm friggin' amazed. I'm getting it framed hopefully soon along with the certificate of authenticity so that I can proudly display it and think of how sweet and thoughtful and generous Jenny is. By the way, Jenny, if I forgot anything on the list of stuff you got me then I'm really very sorry but you got me so much stuff it's hard to remember it all. Along with all those things everyone else got me alot of great stuff, including: more very nice clothes, a jacket, a skully, Pot of Gold chocolates (mm!) and a VERY soft throw blanket and a hot cocoa set (from Jen's mom), a Moose calendar and moose 3-D puzzle (from Rachel), an Old Spice deodorant/body wash gift set (from Jen's grandmother), a watch, Call of Duty and Batman PS2 games, a PS2 controller, and gift cards to Hollister, Dunkin Donuts, and Circuit City, among other gifts that I'm sure I'm forgetting so sorry for that. Obviously I was blessed this Christmas and I'm very thankful for everything and grateful to everyone, but next year you should all save your money (JENNY!!!!!). Merry (belated) Christmas to all.

I'm still waiting on one last gift for Jenny, and I still have to remember to give her the bottle of Martinelli's that's been sitting in the corner behind my wrapping paper since Christmas, AND I have to get a replacement magnet cling monkey since Molly chewed up the one I was gonna give Jenny, so Jenny's Christmas isn't done just yet. As far as the forthcoming holidays, Jenny's gotta work New Year's Eve until 8 and then New Year's Day at 6 and obviously she's my New Year's kiss and I'd rather spend the night with her than go out and be without her so we're ordering some food and spending the night together at her house. We'll set the alarm for sometime around midnight, watch the ball drop, and then I'll leave. For her birthday (which isn't a holiday but it SHOULD be!) we're both gonna try and get it and the day after off so we can actually have some time off together. The only definite plans for that day is that we'll use the hot tub certificate I got her for Christmas. THEN for Valentine's Day... well... I can't reveal that because Jenny reads these. To be honest I'm not quite sure what I'll be doing for her that day but I hope whatever I come up with she appreciates and likes it mucho.

I'm getting sleepy now so I suppose I should sign off and fall asleep before I fall asleep with the computer running... that probably wouldn't be too good. Besides, I wanted to get up early so I can have plenty of time to dedicate to activating my TracFone since I have to call and Jen said it takes FOREVER, and I wanted to finish cleaning my room and bathroom and put away all my Christmas gifts. I'm slowly beginning to get my room back! I'm not gonna lie, I probably won't update for a while again so Happy New Year, remember to say Happy Birthday to Jenny on January 24th, and Happy Valentine's Day! And if I DO update between now and then then disregard all that and I'll say it next time I update (maybe). I LOVE YOU JENNY!!!
