I have some time to kill right now since Jenny's at work til 8, so I figured I'd update and give her something to read for when she signs on :). Last time I updated it was before another "Us Day" (we already have our own relationship terminology). I had lunch with my mom that day at Chili's just because we haven't talked in a while and I know that she misses that (who else will she talk to? Matt? Ha!). We caught up on some stuff. I ran to the bank after that to transfer some funds so I could be sure I wouldn't bounce a check, then off to Jenny's. We went to see Jet Li's "Unleashed." It was ok... definitely not the movie I thought it would be. There was maybe a half hour of good, solid fighting and other than that it was kind of a love/drama story. Wait til it comes out on DVD if you're interested. I DO wanna see High Tension (the guys who made Saw made it) and I think it's called Cry Wolf, about a dude killing on a college campus. We got back to my house and made some Velveeta shells and cheese and watched some movies. Another late night, all in all I think it was 14 hours together that day.
Thursday was a pissed-off-Eddie day. I got up early (9 is early to me now) and went to the FSB ATM here in town to withdraw like $40, but my balance was -$5. Yeah.... negative balance after I transferred $100 into the account to cover a $87 bill AND I got paid that day and I have direct deposit. I go home, call FSB and we go through transactions and it turns out TranSouth, the bank I go through for my car loan, withdrew the $317 for direct payment EVEN THOUGH I sent a check for this month and the application for direct payment along with a letter asking not to start direct payment until June. So I got credited twice for a May payment. Not cool. The lady I talked to from TranSouth was a real bitch and that didn't help anything because I ended up laying into her a lil' bit. The semi-sweet ending is that I ended up getting most of the money back ($200 of the $317), but I really have no clue why I wasn't given back the full amount. I'll have to call Tuesday and kick some teeth in over the phone. Anyways, Thursday sucked as far as work goes because I ended up getting a weaker version of what Jenny has. We hung out after work at her house and I think we napped.
Friday I was suppose to have a game after work but it turns out that I'm never suppose to play softball again because everytime I remember and am ready for a game it gets rained out, and now I have a game on Tuesday that I can't make because I have to work!!!! GRR!! So, I didn't have a game and Jenny and I hung out at her house watching the Sox/Yanks game (which the Yanks won 6-3!).
Saturday was one of the more fun days of the week: work went by SO quickly because there was alot to do and I was rushing around trying to cover beer and grocery at the same time AND get displays done before I had to do paperwork. When a grocery kid came in at 2 I was able to slow down a little and finally at 5 I was able to sit down and take my first break of the day (I worked 9-6 without a lunch). After work I got back here and had dinner with my mom (pizza from Pizza, Wings, and Things! MMMMMMmmmmMMM!!), then napped for about 30 mins before I picked Jenny up and we came back here. She wanted to nap but, like always when she says that, it doesn't happen because I "distract her" without doing anything. Crazy girl. She stayed over til 2:45ish and I drove her home. On the way back to Florence we had a bit of an animal safari. We saw, in this order, a rabbit, 4 or 5 jackasses (retards walking down the MIDDLE of a dark road), a possum, a skunk, and a frog. We stayed in my car for a LOOOONG time (I ended up leaving around 5:30 A.M.!). We climbed into the backseat which was real easy for a 5'2 and 3/4" girl, but REAL hard for a 6'2" 180 lb. boy. We talked pretty much the whole time and laughed a real lot, some serious stuff though, too. It was fun watching it get light around us and it's always nice to just sit and talk with her. Hours of conversation seem like minutes and it's incredible how alike we think. :).
Today she was suppose to meet her friend Jason for coffee/tea at Starbuck's at 8 and she only got like 20-40 mins of sleep before she headed out to meet him. He didn't show, I guess. Meanwhile I was fast asleep in the middle of my 3 hour sleep-a-thon. I can't complain though, I really felt bad for her especially because she was awake for nothing since he didn't show. I went back over just before 10:30 cause we were suppose to go to church. She looked so tired, and she could barely keep her head up so I left it up to her if she wanted to go or not. We didn't. We were also suppose to go to Jen's for a graduation party but we napped through that... if you read my journal I'm sorry Jen for keeping Jenny up so late and us not getting to your party but congrats on graduating!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say we had another lazy afternoon, but someday when we both catch up on sleep (if that's possible) we'll enjoy the good weather and go for a run, or do something at Look Park, or like she wants to do: sunbath!! (to self: oh boy, Ed, don't think about it... stop... ok. whew). Tonight we're going to the Hangar in Amherst for some wings and either back here or her house. She gets out at 8 and it's only bee 2 1/2 hours since I saw her but I do miss her.
Oh, also she's real excited about my birthday. She went shopping with Biss Saturday morning and she's already given me two gifts! A Yankee LiveStrong-style bracelet and a Yankee antenna topper (I had one but it was from Kaitlin, bleck, and it was getting real cruddy so I replaced it with the one Jenny got me). I'm glad she's so thoughtful and cares that much about me to wanna make a big deal out of my birthday (it's never really been a big deal because I don't let it but she really likes to do so).
I had every intention to spend my free time today making her something but when I got into downtown NoHo the place I needed to go to for stuff was closed. Hopefully it's open tomorrow because I'm doing a 10-2 and she works at 4 so maybe we'll just go for a quick lunch somewhere, I'll drop her off, and then swing by there to pick up what I need. I have real stupid ideas and this is probably another one but we'll see if she likes it... she usually likes the stupid things I do.
I finally got around to doing house work (laundry and vacuuming mainly) and I let Molly out so we could play with the frisbee. She's inside now for the first time since probably late last Fall and she's got her first rawhide bone since then, too. She's in Heaven right now. ...must be boring to sit out in her pen all day but if she stayed in the yard she could be out more. During our late night/early morning conversation today in my car, Jenny and I talked about our house after we get married. We both want virtually the same thing, except I want a big dog like Molly to keep outside and play in the big yard with and she wants a chihuahua (I don't like them... it'd be solely her dog).
Ok... I've spent enough time online. I'm writing Jenny an e-mail and signing off. Later.
