Things, They Keep Happening
Well, now I'm laid off. I found out Friday after work. The temp agency called and said the company was laying off people due to overstaffing; they've already cut people from the production floor and now they're hitting the office.
I felt like crying for about ten minutes, but whatever. I feel like unless that place is fifty kinds of secretly toxic, it was just business and not a reflection of my performance, which was fine as far as I know (mostly unsupervised work, but I could ask questions whenever I wanted to, which GOD what do I have to do to get back on there? Seriously.)
So, breakup and now unemployment. I feel weirdly OK about it all, though. Plus I qualify for unemployment. YES.
