So I talked to the 'rents and Mom was decidedly sweet and supportive (YAY!) and not still with the finger-wagging, and so I asked her and my stepdad, "Hey, I don't have to be anywhere, can I come home for Memorial Day weekend?" And they were happy about it and despite REALLY not having the gas money for it, I came down last night and then spent most of today over at my aunt and grandmother's place hanging out with my cousin's newly-minted baby.
Said baby is a boy. Said baby is tiny and fuzzy-headed. Said baby is, I promise you, THE CUTEST THING THAT EVER LIVED EVER ANYWHERE EVER OMG I AM NOT KIDDING, Y'ALL. I just kept trying to eat the baby all day. (His neck was DELICIOUS.)
Up until now, even in my own family, I've been kinda "Babies. Eh." I mean, I wouldn't let anything bad happen to one, but I wouldn't stand in line to get one, either.
Now I'm all, "What was I thinking? Babies! They smell great! They taste good! They're appropriate for all non-mosh-pit occasions! Surely Amazon will start carrying them any day now." Because I'm not about pain, OK?
I'd post a picture, but I can't and the internet would explode anyway. From all the CUTENESS.
