'took a daytrip to the coast yesterday... was a sleepy day with lucky unrainy portions. Most of our time was spent driving to and from but we had a couple reprises on the trail and beach. For me, fairly uneventful which happens when one camera battery dies early on and the next dies after a few more exposures and then finding I'd left the SD cards from a backup camera back in the vehicle... Light wasn't colorful so not much was missed.
I find that when I travel with others, I can usually forget about doing much photography... my mode is to experience the occasion and place which more than likely takes time that just doesn't fit into the schedule of others. So, when I do go out with others, I enjoy myself but it isn't a photographic experience for me. Yesterday's battery and memory circumstances weren't much more than a minor annoyance.
