after the rock experience, I traveled on till sunset

where I stopped at a rest stop to watch the sunset... It would be setting without much color imparted to the landscape but I made photographs anyway... While I was there I met a trucker couple whose working life is on the road and playtime is trekking and other pursuits. We talked for hours and they burned a CD for me so I'd free up some space on the iBook. They showed me their truck cab and how they had made it home... and gave me some much needed advice about the CB radio that I took along for the trip but didn't use because of much needed tweaking of the tuning... nice folks I met that day... it was a good one. This is the digital image I made after sunset while we were talking... I kicked the saturation up a bunch to make an image...

after our visit, they drove on toward LA and I continued on to to where US-50 splits off to traverse northern Nevada. I stopped for the night at a truck stop in Elko, NV.
