I was wondering where the highlight came from...assumed it was lit with flash until i read the text.Great shot. Tacoma sound like a wonderful place to take pictures.
This is a fascinating and intriguing photograph Ed. Although I would love to see the tunnel at the Tacoma zoo you describe some day, it's unlikely I ever will, so I thank you for giving me thee oppotunity to see this. Makes me think somehow of some of the writings of Loren Eiseley...can't say why exactly, but it surely must have something to do with his vivid descriptions of the shadowy lives of animals that we seldom witness or think of.
And, I so admire and aspire to attain even half the patience you have in getting the photographs you do!
