blizzard started yesterday...before it started to snow i went to walmart...picked up some food and a flashlight which fights fog, mist, night, and anti-glares. gased up....not supposed to work weekends cuz i'm on monday-friday 6-2, but i was on the schedule for last night 6-10 cuz 2 people needed it off (one of those 2 didnt end up needing it off because the snow canceled his thing, but i still had to go in)..and the girl i worked with is 17 so she can't be there alone. i ended up stuck there till 10:45 (an extra 45 minutes of snow accumulation) because something happened to the overnight guys car and i had to wait for the district manager to get in from warren. the kid who could have worked but didnt said he could go in for midnight....district manager wanted me to stay until midnight but i told her no cuz i wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. then she just called me a few minutes ago asking if i could go in tonight 6-10 again...screw that. i'm not supposed to work weekends, i'd like some time away from that place, especially during a state emergency and ongoing blizzard and my street hasnt even been plowed yet. even cumberland farms, mobile, and the mall have closed...but not north swansea s(hell) station. watching the school cancelings....boston public schools are all canceled for tomorrow and tuesday already. fall river schools are canceled for tomorrow....however, swansea, somerset, seekonk are all still on. so is bcc.
