Since I last wrote anything on my Blog quite a few things have happened most of which are rather pleasent -- except the council hounding us for money we don't owe them. >:(
1. August 7th got me a job, through an agency for 1 weeks work at Homecare services... this then turned into 2 weeks, then a 4 week rota was drawn up, another 2 weeks was added and now -- October 18th I'm still here and it looks like I'm set to remain, which is lovely. :)
2. September 22nd was knocked down by a car while I was crossing the road -- the driver was most definately not looking where he was going... the git and I ended up spending friday afternoon and the evening in hospital in emense pain. I broke my toe, bruised my right leg, bashed my left shoulder and scrapped my right elbow. Apart from that all was peachy!! I've still got a dodgy knee, an aching shoulder and a painful toe... oh and I'm paranoid crossing busy roads. :(
3. October 9th - 13th My holiday with Jeff in Minehead was fantastic. I had a wonderful time and we rent this brand-spanking new car, had 97 miles when we collected it -- returned it with about 550 miles! We went swimming every day, visited Dunster Castle, walked up this stupidly big hill and Jeff did karaoke. Also, while at Dunster Castle we joined the National Trust... don't ask why I'm not completely sure, think it's a sign of growing old when you think stuff like that is a good idea!
4. October 12 -- best day so far in the last 26 years. Jeff proposed and so on June 30th at Wilden church I will cease to be Miss E. Davies and become Mrs. E. Udoh!! Argh help what have I let myself in for? Oh well never mind time to grow up a bit I suppose. :O
