Bad day for poor Grym. He got a new video card Saturday... and found it doesn't fit his box. Found, in fact, that his motherboard is pretty much already maxed out in terms of both video card and RAM. He got some new speakers for the house stereo system, since he tried plugging in the old once and they sounded all wonky. The *new* ones sound wonky too, so he got some new speaker wire on the hopes it's that and not the stereo. Probably going to have to take both the speakers and the video card back. He's got a bit of a grump over that. :-)
I, on the other hand, just need some new wires and I can turn my external drive into an internal drive. (Yaay!) Note for all: Kingwin drive enclosures SUCK. The power cord is so loose in the socket that it wiggles out of contact if you sneeze somewhere in the same room. I'm having to duct-tape it in place. >.<
I also can't find my goddamned Witcher game CDs. :-P I know where the music CDs from the extended edition are, but not the game disks. It's pissing me off.
