Apple

For the first time ever, I am unhappy with Apple.

I upgraded my iMac to Leopard. Upon reboot, my computer froze on a blue screen. Apparently this is a known issue, so while I wasted a lot of time prior to searching apple support for the answer, at least I was finally able to fix it.

Things seemed hunky dory until I went to download and install the updates. Lo and behold, I found out that my user status was no longer administrator; I had been downgraded to a standard user, and could not make any changes to the system settings. This is a known issue too. That sucked, but a few reboots later and I was able to fix it.

THEN I went to sync my iPhone. iTunes does not recognize it, even though it's listed in the system profiler. It looks like this is yet another known issue. I haven't tackled this one yet, I was too pissed off last night to keep going. I drank some wine and watched Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares on BBCA instead.

Additionally, my ice cream maker canister refuses to freeze fully in my freezer so I can't make ice cream. My TiVo is still dead so I am missing all my shows. My roomba is finally working again but the battery only holds about 30 minutes worth of charge now, making it virtually useless; I easily have about 2 hours worth of dog hair in my house.

(Can you tell I'm a complete cranky-head today?!)

In other news, I spent entirely too much money on shoes yesterday and I should totally regret it, but I mostly don't. I do have a tiny bit of guilt since I should be saving for a new house, so I will probably return at least one pair. Maybe two.
