Doctor... um... who?

I don't watch Dr. Who regularly (who the hell thought 4:00pm was a good idea?) but I've always thought it's awesome, the universe is interesting and the Doctor is so much fun! So. Yesterday I got home early from work, I turned the TV on and this is what happened:
OMG DR. WHO YES! Wow! Rose's mom! And his dad! From a parallel world?! And... oh, no. No. NONONONONONO. It can't be. Is this... The Episode? OHNO. NO! NOOOOOO!
Yep, it was Doomsday.
I almost cry. And I don't really know about the characters or the entire universe... it was just so sad, Rose had chosen staying with the Doctor over staying in the other world with her family, but she got stuck in that parallel universe... and the Doctor was crying... :(
