*dazzle, dazzle*

Heh. I have to admit that my opinion towards the series was kind of harsh at the beggining, all those "read anything but this" and dazzle-you icons grown on you after a while. Something happened, though, my little sister started to read it and I thought, hey, you like Harry Potter, that's for teenagers, you have to give it a try! It may be corny but it's about vampires! And so, I decided to read it.

Only I didn't. Because sis gave the book back to her friend before I had the chance. Owww man, what a loss... - yes, that's what I thought, you can instert some sarcasm if you want, I know I did.

I thought that was it, the story of the (failed) encounter of Edah with Twilight. A very short and sad story.

Wrong. Sis started to talk about it NON STOP. And so did a friend of mine. And I was happy I didn't read it because what they told me about it made me want to puke. Vampires that shine? They have diamond-like skin? They dazzle you?! Seriously? That one thing is a disgrace to the concept of a vampire! And the Cullens call themselves vegetarians because they don't drink human blood?

I could write about how much I dislike it to no end. The more I heard, the more it disgusted me. I love vampires, they're one of my favorite fantasy creatures and those are not vampires, they're immortal kids with superpowers.

I watched the movie, by the way, not because I wanted to, my friend didn't believe me when I told her it was bad and she insisted. I want to think the book is better because I don't think it was supposed to be that funny.

movies, twilight
