My facebook wall is starting to nauseate me, I have to say. If Trudeau actually legalizes pot, the love-in might continue for a year.

I am so sick already of people objectifying a guy who could not be bothered to show up for the Bill C-51 vote and whose party voted for it. Now I know how the Russians and Ukrainians feel and I am sorry for ever posting lulzy Putin pictures.

Sorry, I should have put it under a cut with a trigger warning.

I'm temporarily taking comfort in all the (very) good symbolic noises he's been making since the election and letting myself hope he'll follow Rachel Notley's lead by, to paraphrase one of the Wild Rose Party loonies, keeping his ostensibly (left-of-the-NDP) promises.

But you know I don't expect to be fooled for long.
