Backstreet Boys
The boys are back. They've been back on MTV for awhile now, and they've been back in record stores since last Tuesday. You weren't aware? Well, now you know. And better late than never, but first a word of caution:
It's very formulaic. Don't misunderstand me. It's a good album. Of course the production is good, they are multi-platinum artists, and as always, their singing talent beyond approach by any other group. However every song sounds alike. You end up with a 47 minute song about losing a girl and trying to get her back.
What? 47 minutes? Yeah. It's a long album.
You'll have to decide if you want to hear a bunch of songs that sound like the hits from "Black and Blue" or not. As a bonus, it is a dual sided disc that includes videos, pictures and info (don't mistake the packaging. It's not a "DualDisc". It's a dual SIDED disc.).
It's a soft, sweet trip, but it's not for everyone. I'd recommend getting their hits album and downloading the singles from this album off of iTunes.
