Let's See How Far We've Come

A recent surge in the listening of one, Matchbox Twenty, has made me remember a lot of things that really make me smile. Sure, in the end, most of it went to shit, but when it was good, it was pretty damn good, and I like thinking about it. I don't know why I started listening to them again. I guess their new single is too catchy. Even my newfound musical superiority couldn't fight it off.

Nothing new to tell. I work at Barnes & Noble now, and I love it. I'm driving home with three of my best friends for Thanksgiving, and I'm excited, because they're Japanese, and this will be their first Turkey Day! We're going to go ice skating, to Unclaimed Bagged, the Space and Rocket Center, Black Friday shopping, and maybe go watch the meteor shower out in Greenbriar (and eat at the restaurant!) It's going to be great. I'm super stoked.

School's almost over, and I'm happy. This semester went by fast, but it rode everybody pretty hard I think. Everybody I talk to seems really worn down, myself included. My last final is Dec. 13th, and I'm counting down the days. Big plans wise, Quiggy and I are driving to Chicago for Spring Break! I've decided I am going to move there (depending on how well I like it, which, duh, I will) so we're going to check everything out, and I'm going to set an appointment with Columbia College Chicago for information on graduate studies. That said, I have to work on my portfolio. Scary.

How's everybody else?
I have to go to class.
I love you all.
