I love Ecuador
Just needed to share that.
My two big surprises so far...My godson is getting confirmed in two weeks!!!! Had no idea, but I am really excited to be here for it. This is the teenager who took out his teenage rebellion phase on yours truly, but it seems he may be over that and things have been good with him over the phone for the past few months and continued goodness now. YAY!
And, in other news...I´m gonna be a grandma again. Jolin!
I´ve seen 7 out of my 10 boys, talked to another one who is off in the army, and am working on finding the last 2. All are doing well. especially my youngest, who is the happiest I think I´ve ever seen him.
On a personal note, it is just so good to be here. Getting off the plane, it just felt like coming home.
And then yesterday, i got an email of a job possibility here. It would start in April. It kind of sounds amazing.
I can totally finish my dissertation before then.
Please send lots of warm thoughts-prayers-vibes this way as i try to figure out if it would be a good fit.
