Freaky news from Ecuador
This sounds like something out of a soap opera, but it's true.
This weekend, Jonathan, 2 weeks old, was kidnapped from his parents' home. His mom is a teacher in an after-school program for kids in poverty and his dad, a former street kid, is currently a teacher at the shelter for street kids where I work. Jonathan has several older siblings. At this point, Ecuadorian news has been covering the story extensively, but so far there are no leads.
Please send out some prayers/good vibes for Jonathan and his family.
ETA: I just got this news on streaming video - that info says he was actually taken from the maternity hospital. Not sure which report is correct.
