We are the champions
Guess who are the new champions of Guayaquil's high school soccer tournament?!?!?!?
That would be my boys, of course. They just won this morning. Two of my godsons are on the team, so I got to wish them luck last night and then talk to them this afternoon. They were understandably thrilled and excited. So was I. It is just so great to see all those kids succeed at something they have worked at so hard, something they really love, and to beat teams that were coming in with a lot more resources. It always makes me happy when my boys are happy, but this one is particularly sweet.
Just wish I could've seen the game.
