Wake-up call
It's only 6 am and I've already had the highlight of my day.
Last night, I was talking with my goddaughter's mom. I've been getting home late so I keep missing my goddaughter when I call, and her mom suggested that I call in the morning before school (that's 6 am my time). I laughed. Natalia is about as cranky as I am at that hour so - no way.
And of course, I set my alarm for 6 am. I caught her on the one morning in 50 when she was actually in a good mood. That girl just gets cuter every day. Today she wanted to sing me Christmas carols, which consisted of her singing the word "Navidad" over and over and over again, to the tune of "Santa Claus is coming to town". And then she tried to pass the phone to her baby brother so he could talk, too. The boy is about 7 months old, so the best he could do was gurgle.
So yes, I'm biased, but she's the cutest kid ever.
