Hello there all!

Life continues to go smoothly here in Ecu-Land! My friend from Medford, Rachel, who is on exchange here in Ecuador on the coast was in Quito this weekend and spent it with me! She came to school with me and hung out with me and my friends. We had a really good time catching up on our experiences(they are very very different) and reminiscing about Lithia Park, the Coop, etc. So that was fun!

Then, Sunday, I got to go and rappel a waterfall! (Is that how you say it?) I was invinted by a family friend who knows how to do it, and my brother and I went. We went to this beautiful rocky lush area, and spent the day. It was so excting, and so TERRYIFYING!!!! They set up the ropes, and then we went down! It was a waterfall that was about 50 meters high, and I was so so scared. I got all set up, with my harness and helmet and everything, and they had exlained it all, and I was about to go down, and then I had them explain it to me again! I was a wreck. The worst worst part, of course, is the first step you take on the wall part of the waterfall, actually going down. However, it is also the best! So then I just walked down the waterfall, and I don’t think I breathed until I was on the ground once again! But it was so so good! I got extremely muddy. Then, to get back up, we had to hike and then do a little bit of rock climbging! So I got the full deal. It was amazing!!! I highly recommend it, and hope to do it again!

So that was my hightlight of my weekend. Parenst come on Sat, I cannot believe! Yaya! That’s all folks!
