I'm not sure about monsters, but you could poison other demigods with it, enough to paralyze.

No, but I was thinking that maybe I could arm the ends of the vines with it and use it for distance attacks.

Hmm... I think that could be possible. The poison is restored in the plant itself, so there are different ways to use it.
