Art Angel

Augie (Rivera) texted me asking for permission to use my story "Uuwi na ang Nanay Kong si Darna!" in GMA-7's Art Angel. A week ago, I received a similar message from Will (Ortiz) telling me that I'd be contacted by C&E because they used one of my poems (I was not able to confirm which) as part of a textbook she co-authored with Eugene Evasco.
Augie told me that my story will be read on the storytelling segment of Art Angel as part of its mothers' day episode on May 10. If you can wake up early on that day, please watch the show; it begins at 8:30 AM.

Ms. Ani Habulan of Anvil asked me if I already have some cover concepts for my novel Walong Diwata ng Pagkahulog. I just returned the first proofs, with some very minor corrections. Based on their "General Editorial and Production Guidelines," we are now a step shy from production at the printer's; and printing takes only about a month to finish. It means that if everything goes smoothly, my first novel may be on the bookstore shelves by the end of this year's first semester. Yey.
