A full day of traveling that had me start out in Dubuque and continued on throughout Chicago, Dallas Fort Worth and ultimately Portland. I was going to continue on to Eugene, but I got into Portland roughly four and a half hours after I was supposed to, so they put me up in a hotel and will pick me up tomorrow. It is nice and humid out right now here. And more importantly, not freezing.
On the flight from Texas to Oregon, I sat next to two people that just got back from a Caribbean island where they camped out for a week and a half. We got to talking, I mentioned Eugene, and they thought I was from there. Because I look like I am from Eugene. "You know, a hippy." I guess I'll find out tomorrow.
