[The comm clicks on, and a male voice, tenor, with an accent that may sound vaguely British to some, Aeropan to others, speaks thoughtfully.]
Surnames are not common in my world. Even when someone has a second name, they usually prefer to go by their first. Obviously, this is not my world, and most of you are not from it, either. Common sense dictates that the rules of etiquette I know do not necessarily apply.
So.
Does anyone have any advice for determining what name to use when addressing another person? Is there a good default assumption? Or is the only solution to ask each person upon being introduced?

I am also looking for information on a man named Ganondorf, if anyone is willing to share.
