[To Phoenix, it only feels like a few days have passed at most since the last time he was here. That passage of time is fuzzy, though, so he's not certain. Did he even go home at all? Or has he just been here and... sick, or something?

Not exactly certain what to do with himself, he decides to go exploring. Maybe he'll be able to jog his memory.]

[Hello sixteen year old Phoenix, how would you like to run into a fifteen year old Zelda on deck 1? Cause that's where she is, looking terribly confused and annoyed. She has her memories this time.]

[The air is too still for Phoenix's liking, even if is outside. He welcomes the distraction of another passenger.

Especially one who looks like she might be about his age, with ears that are a little bit short, but still come to an elegant point. Phoenix smiles.]

Hello.

[Zelda smiles tightly back, and dips her head in acknowledgment.]

Good evening. [He's a passenger, for certain - but is he affected as she is?]

It is a lovely night.

[Her pose, her posture all scream of someone who is older, wiser, more refined than the awkward young blond that now stands before him.]

It is, isn't it.

[He tosses her a cheerful smile that's half playful, half flirtatious.]

Though I think I could argue that the company helps. I'm Phoenix. What's your name?

[Zelda nods, and she cannot help smiling back. She has her memories, but there is no reason she should not enjoy her newfound youth while she has the chance. Far too long has she been locked in the confines of her position. This opportunity has presented itself, why not use this chance to just..smile?]

I would have to agree with you, Phoenix. My name is Zelda.

Zelda. That's a very pretty name.

[If she lets him, he's going to try to catch her hand and press it to his lips. Maybe it was a little too much, but something about her makes it feel appropriate.]

I'm pleased to make your acquaintance, Zelda.

Thank you. It was my mothers. [And her mothers mother, and her mothers mothers mother...

She's actually used to that gesture, and she dips her head in a slight incline as he does so, eyes lowered in the 'proper' manner.]

The pleasure is all mine, Phoenix. Are you a longtime passenger on this ship?

[He shakes his head, releasing her hand, then straightens up to meet her eyes.]

No. Not really. I think I've only been here for a week... though I'm not entirely sure.

[He frowns.]

I seem to have... lost some time. I don't know how long it's been. What about you?

[This causes Zelda to pause, brow wrinkling in thought.]

I am...no longer certain, either. Some days, it feels like years, other, it feels as if time has brushed past me.

Hnn. Maybe I should think about keeping a calendar.

[He doesn't like the thought of being here long enough to need one, but if things like this happen too frequently, it might not be an entirely bad idea.]

It might not hurt for you, either.

[She nods, a wry expression on her face.]

I am beginning to think that might be a good idea. Though, with what month would we start?

ecopiracy September 8 2010, 02:03:16 UTC
[Phoenix smiles.]

Whatever month it feels like. I'll just go with the month it was before I got here.

Oh? [She offers a smile back.]

And what month would that be?

It was still March when I first came here. Unless I'm really off in how much time I lost, it probably is still March.

[She nods.]

That is a lovely month. We can say it is still March.

[He'll be informed by Damas later on that he's lost more than just a few days, but for now...

He smiles.]

March it is, then.
