Characters: OU!Sora, Open Thread
Where: The Plaza
When: Evening
Summary: With things looking brighter and brighter for the future and his relationship with Kairi, he's taken this time to ponder over how to go about throwing a massive party for everyone in his group celebrating their 16th birthday. That and just enjoying a stroll.
Warnings: It's Sora. Unless you've got a bone to pick with him or try jumping him, I see zero chance of anything bad happening. XD!
From enduring a futile nightmare of having harmed the last person he'd want to wish anything negative upon, to the embrace and smiles to be had in the after math... Sora wouldn't admit it, but he had very well enough of adventuring and the ups and downs. And for a change, even in a world torn apart by war and death, he could find peace and relax. He wouldn't have to worry about Xemnas, he wouldn't need to have a care in the world...
Maybe that's why he was so desperate to push for this party in the future. A selfish side of him wanted to say that this would also help himself especially. The shining true Keyblade Master, however, saw this as an opportunity to place another smile upon his friends' faces; especially the likes of a certain redhead. The road to recovery for the two was a long and tedious one, full of nights spent alone or reverting to the states of deep thought and fear.
'No more.' Sora mused as he strolled about the Plaza. As tired as he was, he couldn't pass up the opportunity to be out on a night such as this. He loved gazing up to the stars. He loved it when the moon casted a pale path of light for him to follow. And what was better? The fountain in the Plaza never looked as pretty as it did tonight. Striding over to the water display, Sora watched in silence for a moment before a smile broke out across his ever so bright expression. Kneeling down beside the rim of the fountain, Sora let himself get lost in the calm and soothing sound of water flowing, sky-hued eyes gazing into the reflection of the still water as he looked upon the moon and stars above.
He had best have been careful! Least he end up falling asleep there. He was surprisingly comfortable in that spot, his eyes slowly coming to a close as he let the sound of the water take him away from the world; and back to the islands that destiny had bound him to. Back to a world where he could race Riku along the beach as Kairi tagged along behind, smiling and laughing in amusement as the two teens were always in competition. In a way, it made him feel sad...but happy at the same time. Knowing that he was in a different world, away from everything that he knew and felt complete with. But the bliss was bright in his heart at the fond memories to be had. And for that, his smile never faltered as he opened his eyes to gaze into the moon through the water's soft surface.
"Someday..."
