Summary: Terra and Ven, both injured, meet up to help and comfort one another, over their desperations and their losses.
Warnings: None, maybe some spoilers for KH2 and possibly the secret ending and Birth by Sleep. Sort of. Yeah.
With the battle fought, but hardly won, it was hard to feel as though it was an actual victory. So many had died and had been lost...notably among them a red haired Nobody, whose body was probably nothing at this point. And Aqua too, gone in the blink of an eye, before even Terra could see her. But Ven had cried enough for Axel before the battle, and maybe he would again later, once he was sure the survivors were safe. And Terra was first on his list, since both Kairis were with Sora, and Roxas was with the remaining Axel.
...Axel. He didn't know much of what to do there. Something made his heart beat faster around him, but he also knew what Roxas must feel towards him, especially with a heart.
"Roxas, I think you have a heart. Namine and I...we don't."
He was glad they were together. Or, at least...that they had the opportunity to be together. As for him...he had his own to take care of.
With his old Organization coat slung over one shoulder, and his white shirt wrapped around a deep cut in his arm where the Entropi stung him, Ven made his way to the commons, looking around for broken armor and the powerful knight that rested within it.
