Summary: Mai decides to go and work on a few little moves here and there aaaaand gets a visitor.

His warm breath clouded the air and Hitsugaya had to concede that all things considered, at least it was cold here. Bad enough to be trapped, but to be trapped in heat? Unbearable. He had spent the last while wandering, lost in the concept of being detained and instinctively seeking an escape anywhere he could. His first attempts had yielded nothing but a sore head and some dizzy spells.

They had passed, leaving irritation their wake and so the Captain had decided to take a walk.

He did not actively seek out company. He did not want company as of yet. He wanted his freedom, such as it was. He wanted to return to Soul Society and to his duties. What he got however, was a woman tossing fans at defensiveness snowmen.

Tilting his head slightly, Hitsugaya paused long enough to watch. He had not seen anyone here yet possess combat skills, as much as this place claimed to be a garrison for those inclined towards it.

Laughing a little to herself as she watched the fan take off the head of one of the snowmen she went to go collect the renegade fans. That was the one thing she wished, that they were like boomerangs. But alas, she did not have that kind of luck with her lovely little weapons. Where she was putting them though... where else could she stores things in that outfit?

Once she was done with the collection and storage was when she noticed someone else near. Oh, that wasn't expected. "Hello?~" She called in his direction, not moving away from the snowmen just yet. If she had to fight she would, most tended to act... stupid around her and it was terribly agitating.

"Coming to practice or just wandering? Please tell me you aren't another technology, mechanical, or medical person..."

He had not seen anyone favour a fan in a long time. Not many Shinigami used them, and none in his division. Tricky weapons, they were heavy enough but hard to throw and keep that aim true. It was a measure of her skill that the woman stuck as many of her targets as she did

But not all of them, he noted.

He blinked at her voice, and only then realised he was still watching as opposed to moving on, which was what he had intended to do.

As to her question however, Hitsugaya regarded her for a moment, and then lifting a hand, he jerked his thumb to the large sword on his back in flat, if silent reply.

“You aim is a little off,” he said, by way of introduction.

Mai, herself, had been training with the fans for years since she began her training. It was more second nature, and what a better weapon for a ninja to use when they were as light as they were? And they looked good!

At his comment she frowned a bit at him, waving the comment off with one of the closed fans. "My aim is fine, I just haven't practiced in awhile. Another sword, bah." She lightly mocked him, grinning in good-nature. "Always with the swords, no one's creative anymore~"
