Uryuu was shaking from what he hoped was just the cold as he made his way to the gardens to meet Orihime. When he saw her in the kimono he felt his face grow warm despite the cold. He wondered if he should have worn something more...formal, but then again he still only had the clothes he'd arrived in.

"Hello Inoue-san." he bowed slightly when he'd finally reached her. "I'm glad you've asked me here."

"It's nice seeing you again, Ishida-san." She said with a smile as well as a bow. She liked the kimono and thought it would be nice to wear something nice for Uryuu. "This garden looks like it might become a beautiful place once spring comes around." She said, moving a little bit closer to Uryuu without realizing it.

Uryuu glanced around looking at the frozen trees and plants. He wasn't sure much of anything in this place could ever be beautiful, but he was more than willing to humor Orihime. "Yes, I guess it will." His eyes fell on her hemmed sleeves and tilted his head to the side, curiously. "Did Saga-san hem your kimono for you?"

"I got some supplies from the computer and did it myself. It was rather easy." She smiled at Uryuu as she started to walk off, holding her hands behind her. They were supposed to be out on a walk, weren't they?

Pausing for a moment a few steps later, she looked back at Uryuu. "Are you coming Uryuu-chan?" Her face then went bright red at her slip.

Smiling as he watched her begin to walk away, Uryuu admired her initiative to get things done (unlike some people around here). He was about to follow her when she called him-by his first name.

Uryuu like the way his name sounded on her tongue. And she was quite cute when she blushed. Choosing to ignore the slip for now Uryuu caught up with her. "Yes I'm here, let's walk shall we?"

"Yes, lets." She said with a smile as she looked up at the Quincy. "There isn't a whole lot to do while in this place besides walk." She said somewhat sadly. They were caged like mice and she didn't like it one bit. At least back in Soul Society she could wander freely.

"That's true. Walk, maybe eat or something." He noticed her change in tone, however slight it was. "I'm sorry you had to get dragged into this mess Inoue-san." he paused wanting to word his next phrase carefully. "But, I am glad you're here with me now." Even as he said the words he felt color rush to his cheeks. Why was she so hard to talk to?

"I'm glad that you're here as well, Ishida-san." She smiled up at Uryuu again. "I know I don't have much reiatsu but I'll do what I can in this...this war." She knew that eventually they would be fighting, but right now, she could relax and enjoy Uryuu's company.

"You're just in training, its not like you're not a good fighter. Just a bit inexperienced. You really saved my skin from IlForte the other day." He wasn't sure if his words were comforting or encouraging, but he smiled awkwardly down at Orihime, resiting the urge to reach out for her hand.

Orhime nodded and gave Uryuu another smile as she reached out and took his hand, of course, her own were cold due to the cold weather. She knew that she probably shouldn't have done that, but she didn't really care.

Uryuu was startled at first by her cold hand, but then wrapped his fingers around her hand. "Inoue-san, your hands are freezing! I could make you a pair of gloves if you'd like."

"That would be nice, Ishida-san. I keep forgetting to get warmer things from the computer." She gave Uryuu a sheepish smile as they walked along.

"I don't like depending on the computer too much, not when I could just ask for supplies and do it myself. Things are better homemade anyway, ne?" Uryuu gave her hand a small squeeze as they walked along. He wasn't sure where they where heading but he also didn't particularly care.

She really didn't have a destination in mind. "Yes, things are always better homemade." She looked around for a moment, not quite sure where they were, but she figured that they would eventually wander back to the garden or the dorms. "You're really good at making things Uryuu-chan." She said, this time using his first name on purpose.

Uryuu turned away slightly, hoping she couldn't how red his face was. "Thank you...Or-Orihime-san." He tried her given name although it didn't sound anywhere near as nice as his name on her lips did.

She smiled at Uryuu before letting go of his hand to dart farward a couple of feet and ball up a handful of snow. Grinning, she tossed it at the Quincy with a giggle. It was time to lighten things up!
