Another day, another house-call. Bones crossed the compound with a brisk walk, carrying the bag which was already becoming precious to him despite its inadequacies. He had forgotten how rewarding good, down-home medicine could be. He would have to bring more of this sort of thing to the Enterprise, if he ever got back there, that is.
A young lady needed a check-up before she started training. Good. He wished he could give one to every person in Econtra before they were forced to train and fight. Hadn't the doctors here already been doing their jobs?
Ast-Epta today. He entered the building, greeting anyone he passed with a nod and a smile. He reached the door of Epta, and knocked.
