Atem was lying on the couch, a hand over her eyes, and she jumped a little, before laughing softly and sitting up. "It's a story you've heard before," she said, inwardly crossing her fingers and praying he'd remember. "It's just come back to bite me on the ass, is all."

"Oh really? And what story is that?" Bakura asked as he sat down next to Atem and place his arm around her. "Whatever it is, it's really got you jumpy angel."

"Oh yeah, and then some," Atem said, sighing as she rested her head on his shoulder. "Yuuko had a drunken party one night, waaaaay back in the early days, before you and I got together. You may or may not remember it; I don't blame you if you don't. I don't like thinking of it much myself, to be honest."

Bakura snickered at Atem. "Angel, it wasn't that long ago. I remember that, it's when you and me started to get close." Although, looking back it was harder to remember things cleary. "That's when you slept with Yugi...other Yugi." Of course there was another (bunny) Yugi. "The other other Yugi I mean. Jezz, this place needs name tags." Bakura joked before getting back to the topic. "What happened to bring this back around?"

Atem smiled a bit before sighing. "Well, he disappeared a while back, and I didn't think anything of it till my double showed up. Of course, I never dreamed Yuugi would be brought back, and that he'd forget ever being here. I decided not to say anything, figuring it was safer not to rock the boat, even when Yuugi and male me started getting close.

"But that was a mistake. Mio decided to be a smart bitch, hack that entry where I bitched about sleeping with Yuugi, and, long story short, posted it in screened comments to male me and Yuugi." She sighed and shook her head. "Now I'm positive male me hates me, and I can't say I blame him."

There was a slight moment where Bakura didn't say anything before he finally snapped. "She what?! That crazy fucking bitch, what the hell right does she have?" During his rant Bakura had gotten up from the sofa and started to pace about angrily. "And the other you better not be mad at you or I'll knock his ass back into place! You and Yugi were both drunk and...fucking hell!"

Atem winced at Bakura's anger, but it was justified. "Well, Yuugi assured me male me wouldn't hate me, but ..." She shrugged. "I just hope he's right."

"Like I said, knock his ass into place." Bakura said slowly before sitting about down with a sigh. "That Mio bitch needs an ass kicking like all fucking hell."

"Oh, she's going to get it and then some," Atem said, sagging against the couch with a sigh. "I'll give male me an ass kicking if I have to, but I hope I don't have to resort to that step. I really like him a lot; he's become like another brother to me, and if anything came between us, it'd kill me."

Bakura frowned a bit and reached over to grab Atem's hand. "You might be worrying about it too much angel. You have a habit of doing that, you know?" He said with a slight smile. "If he hates you over something that is over and done with than he's a bastard."

Atem laughed a bit and squeezed Bakura's hand. "I guess you're right, sweetheart."

"Damn right I'm right." Bakura answered with his classic smirk. "Try not too worry so much, okay angel? There's no point on getting stress out over something."

Atem laughed and hugged him. "You always somehow manage to bring me back to my senses."

Bakura gave Atem a gentle kiss. "I think that's what boyfriends are for. That or driving you nuts. I forget sometimes."

"How about both?" Atem said, grinning as she kissed him back.

"Both? I guess both fits rather well." Bakura smirk before once more kissing Atem, this time however the kiss was a bit deeper. He wasn't sure why, it it felt as if he hadn't done that in far too long.
