[Thread] - Rei arrives
Characters: OU Usagi, AU Rei
Where: Gardens, Then Mui-Tria
When: shortly after Rei arrives, challenging the 'Dark Queen' Usagi
Summary: Rei meets with this world's Usagi... and attacks!

It didn't seem possible for this Warden to be, well, the god of some afterlife Rei had never heard described in all the religions she knew of. But there were few other possibilities available. She remembered the battle clearly, the look in her former friend's eyes. Then, she was here - in this Econtra, whatever that was. There had been no flash of teleportation, no one but the Dark Queen present. And surely the Queen would not wish Rei somewhere she herself could not stake the killing blow.
What was near her to provide a clue? Nothing. This bracelet - she wanted to thrust it off immediately, but suspected she could not - and a mostly bare room. At least she had her transformation wand and the ginzuishou crystal.
"Mercury? Jupiter? Venus?" she called out to her companions anyway; perhaps they were near enough to hear, although they were obviously not in the room with her.
Oh. A communicator. She studied it, figured out how to make a transmission, and repeated the call in its simple three words, the names of their guardian planets. It wasn't too different from the ones the senshi had used themselves.
That brought up another question. Why was she here? Had she won the battle against the Dark Queen, and been summoned to this world to help it? Or had she lost, and been sent here as a second chance?
Rei flopped back on the bed. She had the sinking feeling the answer was the second.
She had failed everyone.
"I'm sorry, everyone," she whispered. "I'm sorry, Prince."
But whether she was right or not, she would fight for this new world, too.
....Until the Dark Queen's voice came over the communicator. Then... Rei really had to have lost. It was a stark, bleak moment. She had lost her friend, had lost her world because of it.
And then Usagi was there, in the gardens Rei had escaped to to think. She transformed immediately.
"Mars power... make up!"
