[Thread] Mad As A Hatter... 's Tea Party

When: After Al's invited Axel over for tea, and after Axel's rambly post of insane doomness.
Summary: Axel's feeling a bit lonely, so he heads on over to Al's for tea. Not that he's really that into tea, but... AND AXELMUSE IS MAKING ME RAMBLE AGAIN. >< XD

Shrugging on his deep red coat, Al stumbled towards the door with an "oof!" Strewn on the floor were various items, like books, pencils, scraps of paper with sketches. Al looked down at the floor and frowned. "Um..." he muttered to himself, and then slapped his palms together. From the floor rose a small stone chest, in which Al hurried stuff all his research and data into, and then shoved against a wall. Then, he scratched his head, and dashed to a cupboard where he pulled out a teapot, a bottle of water, tea leaves and a strainer, and two cups with saucers.

"Coming, Mr. Axel!" The young alchemist called over his shoulder. Once he was sure everything was ready, Al bustled to the door, and opened it. He stared at the person on the other side of the threshold for a moment, before becoming embarassed and bowing politely. "I'm Alphonse! It's nice to meet you, Mr. Axel!"

Axel smiled a little. This kid... he really was a kid. "It's nice to meet you too, Al." Axel came inside and looked around, noting the chest, but he didn't say anything. "You've got a full dorm in here, right? Hope I'm not bothering you." He blinked, and took in the sight of Al more fully.

"You look... younger than I thought you would be. But older, too. Strange. But yeah... thanks for letting me come over."

A slight frown formed on Al's youthful features as Axel commented on his 'age.' "I may have the body of a thirteen-year-old, but I'm actually seventeen," he explained, leading the other to the table. "Lots of people make that mistake though, so I don't blame you."

He gave Axel a smile, and sat down at the table. "Yeah, two of Jing's friends were staying here for a little while. And I think we just got a new room mate."

Gesturing at the tea pot, Al leaned forward. "So, would you like some tea?"

"Hey, sorry." Axel shrugged. "I'm not even sure how old I am. I lost track of the time when I became a Nobody... but that's a story for another time. Unless you'd like to hear it now."

Axel sat down as well. "Thanks, that'd be nice. I haven't had tea in... forever, really. I think the last time I went to the Land of Dragons was when I had it. They really like their tea there."
