Where: Empty lot, south

Faye's postSummary: Not knowing any better, Faye has decided she wants to give Shadow what he admittedly deserves. Rouge just wants to lol at her.
Warnings: Language, hedgehog arrogance.
Normally, Shadow would have better things to do with his time than this. Really, that human didn't deserve any of his attention at all, and to think, here he was, about to take her on. It was such an amazing waste of time. But, really, what else was there to do, he supposed. Rouge must have been bored, too, given that she'd wanted to come along and watch.
He had a feeling that Faye's assumption that she could beat him was probably shared by many others across the compound. He'd seen it before. Humans who dominated their planet uncontested were unable to comprehend the fact that they weren't the center of the universe. They had yet to learn respect for anyone but themselves. Tactically, it was probably an advantage to be underestimated in some situations. Catching an opponent unprepared was a bonus. But he was used to having the opposite effect. Where he was from, people knew he was dangerous, and treated him with the respect he was due. It was good to be feared.
But instead, he had to stand here on a bare stretch of concrete and wait for that idiot human to turn up. It would probably take her more time to get here than it would to put her in her place. He'd given her five minutes to get here, after all. He'd have her on the ground in a matter of seconds.
