Fubuki was excited. He always enjoyed any occasion where he could be in the spotlight. It had occurred to him that if he didn't love dueling itself so much, he would probably enjoy being a commentator full-time. He bounded onto the scene, microphone in hand, looking around eagerly for Johan.

Johan spotted Fubuki; he did not know the other very well, but their paths had crossed now and then in his own world, and he suspected the one he knew and this one were much alike.

"Fubuki!" he called out, waving briefly as he came a bit closer. "Thanks for the help with this."

"No problem. It's going to be fun!" Fubuki assured him. He gave Johan's outfit a quick evaluation. "Hey, I like the look. I should get an outfit like that."

"It's my dueling outfit. All the slave duelists back home wear something like this." Johan said, brushing off a stray bit of blown trash. His eyes narrowed slightly. "He didn't think that much of it." That was just one of the reasons he was doing this.

"It has style," said Fubuki. "I think he can't have very good taste."

"He doesn't have a lot of things," Johan muttered. He could make a list, starting with a sense of humor and a sense of compassion. He knew that Haou's life had been rough, but still...

"His loss," said Fubuki. He felt as much pity as anything else for the Haou. A person like that couldn't have much joy in life, and really, without that, what was the point? "We'll put on a good show for him, anyway, even if he doesn't appreciate it."

Johan nodded, grinning some. He could scarcely believe that before today was over, he was going to be dueling Kaiba Seto. Sure, not the from his world, but who cared? If this Kaiba had the deck of a Kaiba and the strength of a Kaiba, what else mattered?

"I hope everyone turns up soon...before he does. He might not stick even with what we've got planned if it's not obvious there's going to be a duel."

"We could get a spotlight set up," Fubuki suggested. "And do a sound-check. Let everyone see there's going to be a big production."

Johan nodded some. "Where are you getting the spotlight?" He didn't think the Indigeo was back on the job yet, though he hadn't tested it recently to find out.

"I'm pretty sure Otogi could do it, if I asked him," said Fubuki. "He'd probably want to see the show anyway. Who'd want to miss it?"

"Ask and you get it, gorgeous," a lazy voice said from a little distance away, and Johan turned to see a black-haired man relaxing in a comfortable chair, with a drink in one hand. The stranger waved briefly at Johan before returning his gaze to Fubuki. "Spotlight, hm? I can do that."

Johan blinked a few times, then decided that this had to be Otogi. "Nice to meet you."

"All right! Now we can really get started," Fubuki enthused. It was entirely possible that by the time everything was done, he would have forgotten that people were coming there to see Johan, if someone wasn't around to remind him.

Otogi chuckled a little. "So, what exactly do you need a hand with, gorgeous?" he asked, attention flicking briefly all around the area.

"Some lights, for starters," said Fubuki. "For the players, and also for our special guest."

Otogi's lips twitched a little at that. "I can do that. No problem at all."
