Summary: Bruce Wayne is traipsing around town by day. Batman is prowling at night.

Bruce had fallen into the worse slump he'd ever been in since his parents died so long ago. He was a brooder. He would find a quiet place to sit alone and contemplate, sometimes actually go into a meditative state. But with all the current things he had to keep his active mind busy he couldn't concentrate hard enough, nor really even wanted to try to meditate. He preferred his quiet seething. His hate and rage to keep him company.
If anyone found him they'd certainly chide him for it. He just knew it. So he made sure he couldn't be found.
Several weeks had passed now of him hiding. He vaguely wondered if anyone had noticed thought him one of the several disappearances of late. He was still here, still hiding, still brooding and generally being depressed and angry and alone. That worked fine for Batman. He was used to it, and he had gone to love it.
The playboy decided to make an appearance. Finally.
He slept until noon that night and when he woke he dressed up for a full day exposistion as Bruce Wayne, playboy billionaire. He'd call it a curtesy to allow the others to know he was still here, still alive, and not completely wasting away. So after a long, warm shower Wayne took his time in making his appearance immaculate in the broken reflection of the bathroom mirror. He was just lucky he even had a mirror, he supposed.
He grabbed a pair of sunglasses and headed out the door an hour later.

Later that night it was business back to normal. He took his time donning his armor and preparing his belt full of various gadgets, supplies, and small weapons. But then he was out and back into the shadows. However, tonight the Bat was not hiding. He was a presence felt and in some cases seen. He let the compound know that he was still here and was not going to quit so long as he was.
