Summary: another attempt at teaching basic magic to the residents of Econtra
Warnings: Not much likely. Lina probably wouldn't try to blow up a student. Probably.
Lina was setting out materials. The difference between making a ward and doing a normal spell was, among other things, that it required some materials and preparation, rather than just concentration and force of will. Of course, the upside was that any idiot with a box of chalk could learn to make a ward provided they had a decent memory and a little hand-eye coordination. Or a tape measure. Lina considered a moment and decided that some tools for making straight lines probably would come in handy. After all, you couldn't count on the people in Econtra to necessarily know how to do anything. They were a weird bunch.
